About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Select Tech Group. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the development and growth of your team, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Support the delivery of our customer service standards, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Manage your team's performance, attendance, and appearance, working closely with the Store Manager and Regional Store Manager to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including merchandising, visual displays, and stock management.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, targets, and KPIs, and to ensure that the store is meeting its sales and customer service goals.
  • Manage customer complaints and returns, escalating issues to the appropriate level of management or department as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and Regional Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and to develop strategies to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and to develop strategies to address any issues or concerns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
