Claims Assessor

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for insurance and customer service? We are seeking a Claims Assessor to join our team at SVB Solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Claims Assessor to assess and process insurance claims efficiently and fairly. As a Claims Assessor, you will investigate the validity of claims, communicate with policyholders and third parties, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and process insurance claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Investigate the validity of claims by gathering and studying relevant information
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders and third parties to gather evidence and explain decisions
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling claims inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all claims assessments, communications, and actions
Requirements
  • Background in administration, customer service, call centres, or insurance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity, tenacity, and strong research skills
