About Carr Gomm:

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our service in Inverness provides respite breaks to people with caring responsibilities. We believe in the power of person-centred support and the importance of ensuring that carers have the chance to take a break when needed.

The Role:

As a Support Practitioner, you'll be the helping hand that carers rely on. Your role involves providing respite care for 1-5 hours at a time, allowing carers the well-deserved break they need. With an impressive 5-star rating from the Care Inspectorate, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care and support.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for caring individuals who have a genuine passion for making a positive impact in their community. You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.

Benefits:

  • 35 days holiday per year, rising to 40 with service (pro-rata).
  • Paid travel time and additional mileage contributions of 45p per mile.
  • Carr Gomm will cover the cost of PVG application and reimburse the SSSC registration fee for all new workers.
