We are seeking a skilled Support Assistant to join our team at Fernleigh Court Care & Nursing Home in Bedfordshire. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents and colleagues.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing personal support and care to our residents
  2. Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
  3. Supporting residents at meals time
  4. Interacting with our residents on a personal level
  5. Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • No experience as a Care Assistant is required, but it is preferred
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to engage well with the residents and their families
  • A willingness to work day shifts and weekends on a rota basis

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
