Job Summary
Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking a skilled Children's Occupational Therapist to join our team. This part-time position, 22.5 hours per week, offers an excellent opportunity for the right individual to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our local area.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist with relevant experience working with children who have disabilities and complex health needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for completing robust child-centred assessments, assessing the need for home adaptations, and collaborating with local housing associations to facilitate improvements. Strong communication skills and a diverse knowledge of disability will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify children's occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement interventions to support participation, function, and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social care teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 7000 tokens in length. A sound awareness of safeguarding and a car driver with business use insurance are also essential.
