We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Trainer to join our team at Cavalry Healthcare. As a PBS Trainer, you will play a vital role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our care staff, delivering specialized training across various topics, including Positive Behaviour Support, physical intervention, effective communication, and person-specific conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for support workers, focusing on PBS and other critical areas of support
  • Champion best practices, advocating for least restrictive approaches
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners
  • Tailor your approach to meet individual learning needs
  • Travel to our branches in Whalley, Liverpool, and Chester to deliver on-site training
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a support or care role within healthcare, social care, or education
  • Proven knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support concepts and strategies
  • Strong organisational, planning, and presentation skills
  • A positive, resilient, and adaptable attitude
  • Passion for making learning engaging and impactful
  • Willingness to travel to our various branches
