Horse Stable Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Yard Groom to join our team at the Royal Agricultural University's Equestrian Centre. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our horses, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in horse husbandry, stabling, and equipment maintenance. You will work closely with the Equestrian Centre Manager and other team members to achieve high-quality results, and be responsible for supervising and supporting casual employees. Additionally, you will follow RAU's Health and Safety policies, assist with routine site maintenance, and operate agricultural machinery.
We offer a competitive salary of £21,253.50 - £22,214.40 per annum, along with a 35-hour working week on a flexible rota. A passion for equestrian care, combined with excellent horse-handling skills and a good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent), is essential for success in this role.
