**Job Title:** Senior Sales Engineering Lead

Vantage Data Centers is a leading provider of data center design and operation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineering Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of advanced technical solutions to support pre-sales and technical initiatives for our customers.

This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on engineering expertise, strong customer focus, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred experience includes wholesale data centers, colocation, interconnection, cloud, managed services, or critical environments such as nuclear plants or hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales and Solutions Engineering in pre-sales activities, particularly with hyperscale cloud customers
  • Provide technical support and coordinate client capacity requirements with VDC capabilities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of development schedules across EMEA
  • Grow the Solutions Engineering function to meet VDC and customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, architectural designs, and facility tours
  • Drive sales opportunities by designing and proving technology solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Conduct product feature-benefit discussions specific to Vantage data center offerings
  • Assess customer IT environments, including network, power, cooling, and space needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven expertise in designing critical infrastructure or data centers
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with remote and in-person teams
  • Committed to continuous improvement and understanding of the data center industry

Estimated Salary:** £90,000 - £130,000 per annum
