Head of European Facilities Management

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a seasoned professional to lead their European Facilities Management team. As the first-ever Head of Facilities for their European portfolio, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class FM strategy across their resorts, providing oversight and leadership for on-site teams across the continent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Global FM Strategies: Ensure consistency across all operations while adhering to group policies and standards.
  • Guide and Support Local Facilities Managers: Optimize daily operations, promote effective teamwork through regular cross-site communication.
  • Establish Centralized Monitoring Systems: Evaluate performance, facilitate the sharing of best practices, and inform strategic enhancements.
  • Lead Sustainability Initiatives: Align with corporate environmental objectives, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Construction: Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance and refurbishment efforts to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure Facilities Meet Regulatory Requirements: Regularly update corporate policies to align with current laws and best practices.
  • Streamline Procurement Processes: Maximize economies of scale, maintain quality, and oversee vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and cost efficiency.
  • Deliver Comprehensive Reports: Provide senior leadership with data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

This role requires a proven leader with a track record in delivering results across a multi-national portfolio. Experience within retail or hospitality is favorable, but experience from any industry involving high customer engagement and service is strongly considered. You will have a strong understanding of both hard and soft Facilities Management and be confident in your ability to bring together a comprehensive total FM program, identifying areas for innovation and improvement.

This role involves frequent European travel, but you will have full control over your diary and movements.
