Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in Exeter, Devon. This challenging yet rewarding role requires a qualified professional to provide high-quality support and care to adults with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will work with adults aged 18+, addressing a diverse range of needs including older individuals and those with Learning Disabilities.

This position involves a mix of remote work and office presence, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team consisting of 13 professionals, including a Social Care Team Manager, experienced social workers, assessors, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

This role entails:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored plans
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and care
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues and junior staff members

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • HCPC registration as a social worker
  • Proven experience working with adults with complex needs
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and intervention skills
