Altana Wealth Ltd is seeking an experienced Non-Executive Director to join our successful team in London. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional investment solutions to our clients, and this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth and success by providing strong support in functions related to Social Impact and ESG.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corporate governance, with a particular focus on the renewables sector or related fields. You should be a strategic thinker with a passion for driving positive social change through impactful investments. Experience in helping companies scale and execute effectively is essential, along with the ability to provide a balanced, independent perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Guidance: Offer independent, constructive critique and strategic advice to the boards and management teams of portfolio companies.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage extensive industry experience to support the growth and development of portfolio companies, particularly those in the renewable energy sector.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to senior management, helping to navigate complex challenges and drive the companies toward sustainable growth.
- Board Participation: Attend and actively participate in board and committee meetings, as well as engage in strategic discussions and decision-making processes.
- Growth Support: Beyond governance duties, actively support portfolio companies in their growth phases by providing valuable industry contacts and resources.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate governance, risk management, or related consulting fields.
- Strong background in the renewables sector, financial services, or impact investing.
- Demonstrable ability to guide companies through growth phases and strategic challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage constructively with diverse stakeholders.
- A deep commitment to social impact and sustainability.
