Job Title: Pensions Team Leader - SEND/Alternative Provision Transition Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transition Lead to join our SEND/Alternative Provision Team at The Manchester College. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition of students with special educational needs and those from alternative provisions into our college community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage The Manchester College's Transitions Team, ensuring effective collaboration with schools, local authorities, and parents/carers to meet the needs of incoming students with SEND.
* Review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to understand the specific needs of each student.
* Arrange and conduct college visits, orientation days, and taster sessions to help students familiarise themselves with the college environment.
* Collaborate with academic staff and the Supported Learning team to ensure appropriate classroom support and adjustments are in place.
