Paramedic Role in Primary Care

About the Role
The Confederation, Hillingdon CIC is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in delivering high-quality clinical services to patients in Hillingdon. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Community Healthcare, you will work autonomously to provide first point of contact for patients presenting with undiagnosed problems relating to minor illness or injury.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities include assessing and triaging patients, providing definitive treatment or making necessary referrals to other members of the PCN team, advising patients on general healthcare and promoting self-management where appropriate, and supporting the delivery of anticipatory care plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BSc in a training programme approved by the College of Paramedics, HCPC registration, and the ability to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice. You will also need to have completed your two-year Consolidation of Learning period as a newly qualified paramedic.
