Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster Carer Recruitment and Support: Identify, recruit, and support foster carers, ensuring they provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, and meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Placement Planning: Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement placement plans, ensuring the best interests of children are met.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide regular supervision and training to foster carers, promoting continuous learning and development, and ensuring they meet all necessary standards and competencies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, with a Diploma in social work or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have a Social Work qualification and relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of child care laws and regulations.
