ENT Specialist Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled ENT specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient ENT activity, with the ability to work independently in theatre without direct supervision.
Job OverviewThe role is based within the Department of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery, where you will be responsible for clinical duties including outpatient clinics, operating, and emergency care. Our team provides adult and paediatric ENT services at the major teaching hospital in Bristol, as well as outreach clinics and inpatient support across various sites.
Apart from your clinical expertise, we value your ability to contribute to academic, research, and teaching aspects of the post, which is essential for your professional growth and ours.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical duties: outpatient clinics, operating, and emergency care
- Compliance with relevant Trust policies on patient care administration

Requirements- At least 2 years' experience as an SHO or equivalent in ENT
- Experience as a registrar or equivalent in ENT
- Knowledge of ENT to at least ST3 level
- Ability to teach medical students
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Flexibility and teamwork
- Participation in continuing professional development (CPD)
- DOHNS or other postgraduate qualification in ENT
A competitive salary of approximately £76,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
