About the Position
This role involves teaching Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with possibilities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will develop well-structured lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills, while monitoring and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across various key stages.
- Create effective lesson plans that foster creativity and practical skills.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to ensure high standards of achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods.
Requirements and Benefits
- QTS or equivalent qualification, along with a degree in Design and Technology or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels, with an advantage if you have experience or willingness to teach KS5.
