About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Barnet. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with special educational needs and work closely with teachers and other staff to create a comprehensive support system.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support to students with various special educational needs
- Assisting in lesson delivery and adapting materials to suit individual needs
- Collaborating with professionals to promote positive behavior and manage classroom dynamics
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of special educational needs and how to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
