About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer to join our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within the department.
  • Need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Manage an ultrasound quality assurance programme.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, along with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective team work.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
  • Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
