Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accounting Department Lead to join our team at Global Highland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing teams.

The Accounting Department Lead will be responsible for managing the accounts department, providing financial advice to operational teams, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. They will also supervise staff, deliver monthly management accounts, and actively participate in annual budget preparation and quarterly reforecasting.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Supervise staff and deliver high-quality financial analysis and advice
  • Participate in annual budget preparation and quarterly reforecasting
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
