We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Planning Assistant to join our team at Tesco. As a Trade Planning Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of a great proposition for our customers and Tesco across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement trade planning strategies to optimize sales and customer perception across all channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and customer behavior, and provide insights to inform trade planning decisions.
- Manage and prioritize trade planning activities, including range development, trade planning, and merchandise planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including retail, product, customer, and SRD teams.
- Stay up-to-date with competitor promotions and events across all channels, and provide recommendations to optimize trade planning strategies.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform trade planning decisions.
- Ensure adherence to all Tesco policies, storage, and handover protocols, and complete all required training.
- Range development experience
- Trade planning experience
- Merchandise planning or buying experience
- Critical path management experience
- Proven track record of making decisions based on market data
- Analytical and data interpretation skills
- Influencing and communication skills
- Operational skills, including commercial and financial acumen, stakeholder management, communication skills, project management, data analysis, and customer focus
