Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy industry equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Carry out fault finding and repair of electrical faults on a wide range of heavy production machinery
  • Work on induction furnaces, automated casting lines, milling, rolling, annealing, pickling and slitting lines, conveyors, pump systems, AC DC motors, contactors, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, distribution boards, inverters, and overhead cranes
  • PLC work will predominantly be on Siemens S5/S7
  • Involved in continuous improvement project work and facilities maintenance when required

Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained, time served, or equivalent
  • 18th Edition advantageous
  • Experience working in heavier industries such as metal works, steel works/steel processing facilities, foundries, or brickworks
