Electrical Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at a well-established manufacturing client based in Newcastle.

The Role

This role will involve reporting to the Maintenance Manager, working days and nights on the Panama shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

About the Role
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • ONC/HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 17th or 18th Edition wiring Regulations
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Maintenance and fault finding of PLC systems
  • Frequency drives, AC motor, and process control systems
  • Temperature control systems
  • Hands-on mechanical ability
  • Forklift, MEWP, and lifting equipment
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £43,000 to £48,280, depending on experience.
