Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an On-Call Firefighter. As a key member of our fire and rescue service, you will play a vital role in responding to emergencies and engaging with our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and incidents, providing critical support to those in need.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Engage with the local community, promoting fire safety and providing education on emergency preparedness.
  • Collaborate with other emergency services and stakeholders to ensure effective response and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community safety initiatives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly and safely to emergency situations.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to pass a Standard DBS Check.
