Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Universal Support Services Group Ltd in the Wrexham area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, staff, and visitors. This will involve gatehouse duties, access and egress controls, and liaison with the police and other emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the safety of all staff and visitors on site
  2. Gatehouse duties including access and egress controls
  3. Liaise with the Police and other emergency services
  4. Report/incident writing
  5. Staff and vehicle searches as and when required
  6. To use sound judgement and good interpersonal skills when dealing with members of the public and on-site personnel
  7. To support, promote and protect the business needs of the client
  8. To conform to establishment Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments
  9. To conform to client processes and protocols
  10. To participate in other duties commensurate to the role
Requirements:
  • SIA Licence - Security Guarding/Door Supervision
  • Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage
  • Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
  • High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
