Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to join our team at Zoetis Spain SL. As a key member of our research and development department, you will be responsible for providing statistical support to multiple projects in veterinary medicine.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and experience in the pharmaceutical or bio-device industry. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing clinical, laboratory, and DOE studies, as well as identifying innovative approaches for data analysis.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory affairs specialists, to ensure that all studies meet the required standards. Your excellent communication and consulting skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders worldwide.

Requirements

  • MS in Biostatistics/Statistics or related field with at least 10 years of direct work experience in the pharmaceutical, medical, or bio-device industry
  • PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics preferably with 6 years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of PC-SAS programming and experimental design methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to work effectively with international colleagues remotely
  • Ability to critically review scientific publications and develop training programs for others

Salary$143,000 per year
