Riverside is seeking a dedicated and organized Compliance Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our operations adhere to all relevant regulations and internal policies. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from managing expenditure and coordinating inspections to liaising with stakeholders and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Group's financial controls, ensuring robust expenditure management in line with established guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, suppliers, legal professionals, and Environmental Health Officers. Provide expert advice and support to effectively achieve compliance objectives.
  • Coordinate post-inspection reviews of completed works to verify adherence to specifications, work orders, statutory requirements, and Group policies and standards.
  • Manage access to shared spaces for various stakeholders, including contractors and consultants.
  • Ensure that all internal business processes align with the Group's policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work priorities and undertake additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the service.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data protection requirements in accordance with the Group's policies, procedures, and legal mandates.
  • Maintain a steadfast commitment to health and safety standards, adhering to the Group's policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Person Specification Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential
  • Proven experience working within a Building Safety, Asset Management, Estate Management, Environmental Health, or similar team, ideally with a focus on building safety inspections.
  • Experience in raising orders, monitoring progress, and tracking completion.
  • Effective contract management skills, including supporting the administration of service and maintenance contracts.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with, update, persuade, and influence others.
  • Customer-centric approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction at all levels within the organization.
  • Results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically evaluate information and provide meaningful management reports.
  • Strong team player who can adapt flexibly to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Compliance Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems, such as Housing Management Systems, Academy/Open Housing management, C365, and Promaster.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of and experience using Open Housing or a comparable Housing Management System.
  • Experience successfully performing a similar role in asset compliance or health and safety, supporting compliance teams, and carrying out a range of coordinator and administrative duties.
