We are working with a leading security solutions company to find a highly skilled Network Operation Centre Engineer (NOC) to join their team based in Bolton.

The role comes with a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for providing remote support and identifying issues affecting client systems and services, as well as providing 2nd line diagnosis.
  • You will also provide an escalation route within the NOC for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support functions for Comms and Telephony.
  • You will proactively monitor and manage services to all customers, ensuring consistent compliance to company processes, procedures, and standards.
  • You will be responsible for vulnerability management of Managed Service Customers using ITL tools, arranging maintenance windows with clients, implementing changes for end users, and following Change Management processes to write changes.

About You:

  • You will have a combination of qualifications including an IT-related degree or equivalent.
  • You will have a familiarity with networking equipment and technologies.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will be able to work well in a pressurised environment.
