Senior Community Paediatric Physiotherapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. Our department has exceptional rehabilitation facilities and close working links with Medical and AHP Consultants, a range of Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, including but not limited to spinal, upper limb and lower limb, hand therapists, paediatric, rheumatology and neurological specialties.
This role offers regular protected professional development time and an individual training budget as well as opportunities to develop with MSc level study with partnering universities. A broad referral pathway of primary and secondary care provides clinicians with exposure to a varied caseload providing an environment of development through a mix of challenge and support for clinicians.

Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will assist in the clinical delivery of musculoskeletal physiotherapy services within a team of close to 100 physiotherapists between multiple sites and being based at the Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at the William Harvey Hospital.

Person SpecificationQualifications- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- Appropriate State registration with the Health Professions Council
- Broad experience as a Junior Physiotherapist (Band 5) and evidence of achieving the competencies of the exit gateway at Band 5
- Experience working as part of a MDT
- Contribution to clinical education/supervision of less experienced staff/students
- Evidence of Post Graduate Continued Professional Development in specialist field
- Involvement in audit, research and understanding quality issues
- Able to motivate others
- To be aware of and adhere to the Trust's Vision, Mission and Values
- Ability to travel independently between sites as required by the service
