About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain valuable experience working with children with complex needs and mental health issues. As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide support and guidance to children aged 4-11.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and social support to children with mental health issues
  • Work alongside therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure children receive a high-quality education
  • Support children with challenging behavior and develop strategies to promote positive behavior
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for a Graduate with a strong passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives. You will have a degree in Psychology or a related field and be willing to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Experience working with children with complex needs and mental health issues is desirable, but not essential. What is essential is your enthusiasm, resilience, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

We offer a competitive daily rate of £80-£95 and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
