Mental Health Support Worker

Job Summary:
Academics Ltd is seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with therapists and psychologists to provide high-quality support to children aged 4-11.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent and ongoing support to children with behaviour and mental health issues
Work alongside therapists and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for children
Maintain accurate records of child progress and support provided
Requirements:
Relevant degree in a field such as Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology
Experience working with children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
