We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Freight Import Specialist to join our team at First Choice Staff. As an Air Freight Import Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the importation of air freight shipments from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customs Clearance of air freight shipments using CDS (Our operating system is Sequoia)
  • Coordinating with handling agents at airports to obtain release of cargo
  • Arranging collections from airports and deliveries to clients nationwide
  • Quoting clients and overseas agents
  • Administration including raising invoices and passing suppliers invoices for payment
  • Providing strong understanding of quality customer service, as this is what our business is built on

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in air freight imports
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Salary: £35k - £45k

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established forwarder in the Air Import department. As an Air Freight Import Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth importation of air freight shipments, from customs clearance to delivery to clients nationwide.
