About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Plean Dene, a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and enable residents to participate in activities and experiences that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (for residents' transportation).
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
