At Plean Dene, we provide a safe, warm, and welcoming home environment for our residents, a wonderful group of 9 adults with learning disabilities and 'behaviours that challenge'.

We are looking for a positive, committed, and forward-thinking Night Support Worker to assist us in ensuring that those we care for lead an active, fulfilling, and enriched lifestyle.

As a Night Support Worker, you will enable and support with all kinds of activities, encouraging our residents to enjoy Island life, from walks along the coast to trips to local attractions.

You will need to tailor your work to suit each individual, ensuring everyone is happy and engaged in the activities and experiences that suit them best.

On site at home, you could be supporting with arts and crafts workshops, working with our 'Magic Table' (a virtual gaming experience), or helping with domestic duties such as cleaning or helping in the kitchen.

You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service, which has a person-centred approach and actively supports and maximises residents' independence and life experience.

The typical night shift time is as follows:

Wakeful Night – 22:00 – 07:30

You will be well supported and receive regular structured supervision, training, and development opportunities.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy with a clear commitment to excellence.

We welcome applications from people who are able to drive vehicles used by the residents in the homes.
