Job Title: Helpdesk Team Leader

Location: Oldham, Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client, a reputable Managed Service Provider in the heart of Oldham, is seeking a Helpdesk Team Leader to manage 4 help desk engineers. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support to their client base.

This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Support Engineer looking to take on a team lead position or someone with team lead experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are maximising their potential
  • Help shape the development of the company and structure of the team
  • Provide user support to SME's
  • Troubleshoot networking problems
  • Produce procedural documentation, helping technicians with 'how-to' guides
  • Ensure that IT support services are delivered in a timely and effective manner, meeting agreed SLA's
  • Monitor and review service levels and ensure KPI's are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

Technical Skills:

  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure and networking technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365
  • Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and problem solving
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Cloud technology - Azure / AWS
