We are seeking a qualified social work practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in the Chorley South Ribble area of Lancashire. This role will involve working with children and families to provide support and intervention to help them achieve positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a statutory social work capacity, particularly in relation to Child in Need and Child Protection procedures. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide social work services to children and families in the Chorley South Ribble area, including assessment, intervention and review.
  • To work with other agencies and professionals to ensure that children receive the support and services they need.
  • To contribute to the development and delivery of social work policies and procedures.
