Logistics Manager Chester

Menzies Distribution is a leading provider of parcel sortation services. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our operations in Chester.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our parcel sortation hub. This includes supervising the day-to-day activities, managing the shift team, and running a mechanical sortation system.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing mechanical parcel sortation and processes operations. They will also have knowledge of drivers' hours, tachograph, and WTD legislation, as well as health and safety protocols.
In this role, you will be accountable for:
- Managing and developing the operational team
- Ensuring the performance of the operation exceeds customer expectations
- Liaising with internal and external customers
- Ensuring operational compliance, including health and safety
You will also be responsible for:
- Compiling and analysing operational and financial performance data
- Coordinating site housekeeping/maintenance
- Traveling within the UK as required
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus benefits. If you have the skills and experience we're looking for, please apply.
