Job Opportunity for General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Athona. This is a full-time role covering a 14-16 bed mixed acute ward in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as a Responsible Clinician to patients, supervising the process of referral and admission, including contributions to pre-admission assessments of adults of working age.
  • Fulfil the role of Consultant Psychiatrist, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of the service.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
Requirements:
  • Fully registered and licensed medical practitioner.
  • Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • On Specialist Register.
  • Approved Clinician.
  • Must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
