Associate Specialist Psychiatrist

Triple West Medical is seeking an experienced Associate Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist – Learning Disabilities to join their team on a substantive or fixed-term contract basis.
The successful candidate will be part of a friendly department of Psychiatrists providing mental health, learning disability, and substance misuse services for the local region. The Trust has over 3500 staff and offers career progression and development opportunities.
Brief Duties:
- Develop and provide specialist forensic psychiatric services to adults with a learning disability.
- Assess and treat out-patients with a learning disability and co-morbid mental health and behavior disorders in line with NICE guidance and Trust policies.
- Support the care of adults with a learning disability by developing strong partnerships with other agencies and services.
- Contribute to clinical leadership within the Trust-wide learning disability service.
- Participate in governance structures and take up medical management roles.
