Theatre Practitioner

DAYTIME HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join their team in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in scrub nursing, particularly in cosmetic and podiatry surgery, and be able to provide high-quality support to surgeons and other staff members.
This role involves setting up the operating room, ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are available, and handing over to the surgeon during procedures.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Theatre Practitioner will also contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control protocols and other theatre standards.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £37,200-£39,020, taking into account the level of experience and qualifications required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up the operating room and ensuring all tools are sterile
- Handing over instruments to the surgeon during surgery
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to theatre standards and protocols
