About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Crafts Person to join our Estates (Site Services) Team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering a planned, coordinated, and proactive maintenance service and supporting the overall objectives of the Trust.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing frontline service for all customers, requiring strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Maintaining complex building electrical systems, with a good understanding of the healthcare environment.
- Working within a busy environment to strict deadlines, with the ability to identify concerns and know what action to take.
- Being an active part of an enthusiastic team, with a commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working in a commercial or industrial electrical/mechanical engineering maintenance environment.
- Experience of healthcare engineering systems, with a 2391-52 qualification desirable.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to work on a range of electrical systems and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
