About the Role

The EHCP Coordinator Assistant will work closely with other EHCP Coordinator Assistants as a team, offering support to Coordinator Officers and contributing to the development of the SEND Service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing own performance, supporting and working with EHCP Coordinators, managing databases, managing a caseload and meeting statutory deadlines.
  • Being the first point of contact for families and professionals, requiring strong admin and technology experience to undertake a range of functions.

The post is based in Guildhall 2, Kingston, with working hours of 36 hours per week, split across Monday to Thursday (09:00-17:15) and Friday (09:00-17:00).

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Achieving for Children's vision, mission and values, with strong organisational abilities, including time management, creative-thinking, problem-solving and multitasking.

They will also be able to make good use of technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate, with strong administrative skills, managing competing priorities, being organised and working well in a team.
