Job Title: Registered Residential Manager - Childrens Home

Location: Liverpool

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our children's home, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and positive outcomes as outlined in our Statement of Purpose. This role will guide the home's strategic direction, foster a culture of excellence, and provide leadership to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that promote high-quality care and support for residents
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver person-centered care and support services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including those related to resident care plans, incidents, and complaints
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the home's quality improvement plan

Requirements:

  • Registered Manager qualification and experience in childcare or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection
