Job Title: Parcel Sorter/Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parcel Sorter/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Washington location. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and organize incoming parcels accurately and efficiently based on designated routes and destinations.
  • Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other equipment to facilitate the sorting process.
  • Ensure proper labeling and categorization of parcels to prevent errors in delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Identify damaged parcels and follow company protocols for proper handling and documentation.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, optimizing space utilization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or parcel sorting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift packages of varying weights.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and labeling of parcels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
