Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Turndown Room Attendant to join our team at The Langham, London. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing the turndown procedure in each allocated room per shift
  • Following current cleaning procedures to ensure optimum productivity
  • Understanding the use of referenced cleaning products
  • Collecting dirty linen and preparing it for the Laundry
  • Collecting and handing in lost property to the Floor Housekeeper
  • Removing rubbish from rooms and placing it in the service area
  • Removing room service dishes and amenity presentations and placing them in the service area
  • Providing essential products and ensuring they are replenished regularly
  • Checking the operation of equipment and the condition of soft furnishings, and notifying the supervisor of any defects or anomalies
  • Cleaning public areas of the hotel and offices as required

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Immaculate personal presentation
