Lead Our Finance Team

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our business, providing financial guidance and support to the management team, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Oversee the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, including the development of financial models and analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Manage the financial operations of the business, including the management of cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in group consolidations, budget preparation, and liaising with Year End auditors.
  • Proven experience in managing a finance team and providing financial guidance and support to the management team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
  • Salary in line with qualification and experience, c. £57,000 - £70,000.
  • Office-based role with the flexibility to work from home two days per week once established.
  • Car parking on site.
  • Commutable from Bristol, Chippenham, Cirencester, Gloucester, Malmesbury, and Swindon.
