We are seeking an experienced Home Care Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen. This role will involve working closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.

Job Summary

  • Provide personal care to individuals with complex needs, including manual handling, bathing, shaving, dressing and toileting.
  • Issue and prompt medication in accordance with policies and procedures, logging, checking and recording drugs as well as ensuring their security.
  • Support tenants with daily living tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a homely environment that complies with Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Prepare meals and assist with meal planning, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
  • Escort and support tenants in the community on various activities, including preparations for the service user's needs, i.e., lunch, medication, money etc.

Requirements

  • SVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a similar environment.
  • Flexible to work early and late shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays on rotation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
