About the Role:

The Senior Tender Manager position reports to the Subsea Business Unit Director and leads the development of proposals for the supply of Beam's service lines, often including integrated services and technology lead solutions.

The role is responsible for ensuring that all tender submissions align with Beam's commercial guidelines and strategic objectives, contributing significantly to the company's growth and market presence.

The Senior Tendering Manager must be a team leader, comfortable challenging others, have great relationship building skills, be a confident customer negotiator and have an unwavering drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development (BD) and Sales teams to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Assist the Business Unit Director & Chief Revenue Officer in defining and implementing targets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Support the Tendering Team in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Analyse client requests for quotations, compile technical requirements, perform cost calculations, and conduct risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in tender management, or a related role within the maritime, renewables or offshore industry.
  • Demonstrable understanding of commercial risk.
  • An understanding of the operational requirements for Subsea solutions, e.g. understanding of Subsea Inspection/Cable Survey/UXO & Boulder Clearance, preferred.
