About the Role

This part-time teaching professional position offers the chance to support students in various secondary schools across Crewe and surrounding areas. As an Education Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and confidence in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Take the lead in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a smooth delivery of lessons
  2. Demonstrate sole responsibility for teaching and learning, promoting student engagement and understanding
  3. Work independently to deliver pre-planned lessons, adapting to changing circumstances as needed
  4. Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, managing student behaviour effectively
  5. Ensure seamless handovers between shifts, communicating clearly with colleagues
What You'll Need:
  • A degree-level qualification and a minimum of 2 months' experience in relevant fields (e.g., sports coaching, youth work, drama/art workshops)
  • An ability to think on your feet, problem-solve, and adapt to new situations
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives
