About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced estimator with a background in estimating structural steel projects across the commercial sector. As an estimator, you will be working alongside an already established team to provide accurate and detailed quotations to a tier 1 contractor client base.
Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: Establish new relationships with main contractor clients to ensure inclusion on upcoming tender lists.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare detailed and high-quality quotations for structural steel projects.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms with clients to secure contracts.
- Lead Generation: Identify new leads using market data and prospecting tools.
- Take-Offs: Read from design drawings to produce take-offs to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Background: Experience in estimating structural steel projects.
- Contractual Knowledge: Good understanding of the contractual process.
- Design Drawing Skills: Ability to read from architectural drawings.
- Communication: Effective communication across internal teams and external clients.
- Logikal Proficiency: Confident user of Logikal - advantageous.
