About the Role

Morson Energy Services is seeking a skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our team on our UKPN Contract.

The successful candidate will provide health, safety, and environmental support to our operational teams, working closely with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct site inspections and management audits to monitor direct employees and sub-contractors.
  2. Provide expert advice and guidance on specialist areas, including risk assessments, fire safety, CDM regulations, and hazardous substances.
  3. Liaise with external bodies, such as the Health and Safety Executive, clients, and stakeholders.
  4. Deliver toolbox talks, team talks, and SHE training materials on health, safety, and environmental issues.
  5. Induction training for operatives and new starters.
Requirements
  1. NEBOSH General or Construction certificate.
  2. Previous experience as a Safety Advisor in a construction environment (Utilities experience desirable).
  3. High standards of safety behaviour, leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture.
  4. Ability to manage potential conflict during site inspections.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  6. Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
